The 34-year-old woman in Rajasthan was severely burned for jumping into the pyre in the cremation in his father, after he died for Covid-19.
Damodardas Sharda, 73 years old, died at the hospital in Barmer County, Rajasthan, northern India for Covid-19 on May 4.
Relatives pushed a stretcher to bring a victim of Covid-19 to the cremation at a cremation area in New Delhi on May 5.
She was taken to a neighboring hospital and was then transferred to the hospital in Jodhpur to treat.
India is sinking into the Covid-19 crisis with over 20.6 million cases and over 226,000 deaths.
The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was criticized for not earlier act to prevent the second Covid-19 wave.
